, si è dedicata giovanissima all'impegno sindacale nella CISNAL e poi nell'UGL. Nel 1996 è divenuta responsabile delle relazioni internazionali e comunitarie e dal settembre 1998 rappresenta l'UGL nel gruppo II del CESE . Nello stesso anno entra in Segreteria Confederale ed assume la carica di Segretario General Federation of Terziario.Dal 1999 to 2005 he served as Deputy Secretary General of the Confederation, dealing, inter alia, of the main unit disputes of recent years, from ' Alitalia to Fiat of Melfi, from the Thyssen-Krupp of Terni to renew the contract for the civil service.
